Brossac, an exciting countryside village
Perched on a hill, the village of Brossac has proudly weathered the years. Gallo-Roman remains (ancient villas and an aqueduct) have been listed as historical monuments since 1875.
The 12th-century Église Notre Dame de Brossac overlooks pine forested moors and farmland.
Just a few steps from the village, the Étang Vallier is a swimming area with activities for the whole family plus a restaurant.
Numerous hiking trails allow holidaymakers to walk and explore Brossac’s natural beauty. Many projects in the village (redevelopment of squares and streets, construction of a market hall, renovation of the school building, etc.) will gradually improve the village of Brossac.
The hot summer evenings are enlivened by the Summer Thursdays, free world music concerts in the municipal stadium.
