Salon Artisanalement Vôtre

Exhibition organized by the association Artisanalement Vôtre in Plaisance in Barbezieux. Arts and crafts and creators in the spotlight over a whole weekend to arouse the curiosity of young and old. This exhibition showcases professionals in the fields of Arts and Crafts and Living Heritage who practise their craft as their main occupation (secondary occupations are not eligible), and whose craft is recognised by the National Institute of Arts and Crafts. On this occasion, craftsmen will present their know-how, interior decoration, furniture, fashion... Come and meet local craftsmen. The shop Artisanalement Vôtre was created by the association Ébénisterie et métiers d'art de Barbezieux-Saint-Hilaire in June 2020. The municipality offered this premises for the summer then, after a good season, in partnership with the association and craftsmen the adventure continues. This shop is now permanent in the town center of the town. Between 10 and 15 craftsmen are renewed every four months: Upholsterer, restorer of paintings, ceramist, lampshade maker, leather worker, mender, cabinet maker, felt maker, seamstress, light maker... Since winter 2021, the boutique has also housed a leather goods workshop upstairs.
