The Musical Nights Festival takes place in the magnificent village of Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, listed as one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France". A series of concerts are held in July and August in the village's impressive underground church. Thursday 23 July – 9.00 pm – Trio Zêta – Medieval vocal music and instruments Immerse yourself in the world of sacred song and medieval music with this exceptional vocal quintet. An evening full of spirituality and harmony. ️ Price: €15 Wednesday 29 July – 9.00 pm – Ispolin – Bulgarian Polyphonic Songs The Ispolin Trio is an all-female vocal ensemble comprising three artists who formed the group in 2017. The trio takes its name from a Bulgarian legend about giants, the Ispolins, who are said to have once inhabited the region and communicated through powerful songs that echoed from one mountain to another. ️ Price: €15 Tuesday 4 August – 9.00 pm – Natacha Triadou – ‘Treasures of the Virtuoso Violin’ Natacha Triadou, a renowned violinist, will be performing at the Underground Church! She pursues both a career as a concert performer and as a teacher, having studied at the Toulouse Regional National Conservatoire. She has also travelled the globe and studied at prestigious universities. ️ Price: €15 Friday 14 August – 8.30 pm – HAARLEMS Bach Ensemble A choir and a 30-piece orchestra from the Netherlands will perform masterpieces by Bach, Buxtehude and Piazzola.
