Visit with family, friends, or even by yourself. Let’s go!
Goats
Take the time to pet the goats, watch them graze in the meadows or attend their milking at the end of the day for a simple but unforgettable experience.
We guarantee that your kids will love it, so much so, they’ll talk non-stop about the farmers and their goats! Naturally, there will be tastings and direct sales so that you can enjoy these delicious local cheeses at home.

Horseback riding in Charente countryside
Whether you’re already an accomplished rider or not, horseback riding is one of those moments when time just stands still. Feel the wind on your face, being lulled by the sound of hooves on the ground while watching the countryside unfold on the horizon is a feeling of intense freedom!
Several riding schools offer horseback rides in beautiful South Charente countryside:
•Les écuries des chènes in Bors de Montmoreau (english spoken)
•L’Idalgo in Condéon
•Les Agriers in Saint-Palais du Né
•Les mini Poun’s in Saint Aulais la Chapelle (children only)
•Centre équestre Barbezilien in Barbezieux (children only)
This is a must-see in the South Charente: horse-drawn carriage rides with Attelage et Nature in Boisné La Tude!
Emilie and her horses offer you the opportunity to go on nature walks, guided tours and night walks. She can travel around the Charente to suit your needs.
Donkeys
As for animals that will instantly put you in a good mood, we have donkeys! These calm and friendly animals are excellent playmates and even better ‘tour guides’.
The Corps & Ânes association has a variety of activities with its herd of big-eared friends: outings, an early-learning activity for the little ones, a playground and obstacle course and an animal therapy session for disabled people.
There’s something for everyone! The association has activities to suit you and your family all year round.
