The 4-star Villa Bannink is located on the border between the Dordogne and Charente regions in southwestern France, in the village of Laprade, near Aubeterre-sur-Dronne (one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France). The opulent villa dates back around 150 years and was completely renovated in 2014 with modern, practical, and luxurious furnishings. Luxury and comfort while preserving the traditional features of the original characteristics. The renovation was carried out under the direction of Dutch designer Joris van Grinsven, who has given a second life to several historic buildings in the region (www.seigneursdeclerans.com). Surrounding the house are mature trees and a beautiful terrace with a choice of sun or shade. In the approximately 8000m² garden is a new swimming pool with terrace, luxury chairs, large umbrellas, and shade cloth with a covered terrace. The swimming pool (6 x 12m) is securely fenced. Shopping for daily necessities can be done in Aubeterre sur Dronne (approx. 3 km), St Severin (approx. 5 km) or Chalais (approx. 10 km). The towns of Angoulême, Bergerac, and Périgueux are about 45 minutes away by car. The villa has WiFi. Due to its location (close to all amenities, but with enough distance), the villa offers great privacy. The villa is equipped with new central heating, a wood-burning stove in the kitchen, and a beautiful fireplace in the living room. This makes the villa very attractive even in the low season.
