Domaine La Valade is located in 16360 Bors-de-Baignes, a commune of 118 inhabitants in the south of Charente. The Domaine is surrounded by 120 hectares of nature, ideal for walking, cycling or running. It's the perfect place to recharge your batteries. There's a pétanque court (4x15m), a poolhouse with lounge, bar, sauna and bathroom next to the pool, and an outdoor kitchen with a multi-purpose room. All modern comforts are on offer and traditional cuisine is served. Just 4 km from Domaine La Valade is the charming village of Chevanceaux, with its "Avenue de Paris" (population 1,000) and all amenities (bakery, butcher, supermarket, chemist, dentist, health centre, bar and tobacconist, etc.). Barbezieux (population 5,000) is 15 km away, Cognac (population 20,000) and Angoulême (population 40,000) are 40 km away and Bordeaux (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is 70 km away.
