La voie verte Galope Chopine - départ depuis Chantillac

Would you like to explore the countryside of southern Charente, with its rolling hills and vineyards? Take a family stroll along the Voie Verte, in this lush green setting, and recharge your batteries in complete safety. The Voie Verte Galope Chopine is the perfect route! Please note: major works will be taking place on the Greenway along the section between Baignes-Sainte-Radegonde and Chantillac from mid-April until early June 2026; the route will be closed to the public in this section during the works. The Greenway offers a bucolic stroll on foot, an invigorating ride on rollerblades or horseback, an energising cycle ride, and is accessible to people with reduced mobility. 21.5 km of cycle path blending into a soothing natural setting where fresh air, birdsong, landscapes and the scents of the countryside come together. To enhance your outing, the route is dotted with information boards that will help you discover the treasures of southern Charente. After Chantillac, if you feel like it, you can continue along the greenway for a further 15 km on the Charente-Maritime section, all the way to Clérac.
