A former monastery of the Order of Grandmont. The foundations of the monastic buildings have been excavated and the 12th century church restored. Of interest are the windows, created by the Atelier Saint-Joseph of Ruffec. They are formed by a technique known as fusing. The windows at Rauzet are among the largest in France to use this technique. A very contemparary design. The site is always open to visitors, guided visits led by an historian or archaeologist are by appointment. Various events are held throughout the summer.
