The Castle of Barbezieux is a medieval fortress from the 11th-12th century which was rebuilt in the 15th century by Marguerite de La Rochefoucault. The building known as "des Granges" of the Castle has been rehabilitated into a cultural place: theater and concert hall. The restorations, works of 2 years are completed. The inauguration of the castle took place on September 25, 2015. Theater ticket office opens 1 hour before the start of the performances.
