A former paper mill transformed into two water-powered mills, one producing walnut oil and the other wheat flour. The local bakery, the first in the Charente to be awarded the ‘Territoire Bio Engagé’ label, produces its bread using flour from the mill. 2 water mills with millstones : - An old 14th century mill, which used to be a paper mill in the 17th century, and then was turned into a wheat mill in the 18th century. Nowadays this mill produces walnut oil. - A flourmill with cylinders built in the early 20th century and which makes wheat flour. Flour and walnut oil for sale at the shop.
