The Dronne (sub-tributary of the Dordogne), a river which remains among the least polluted is located 6km from the house with a swimming point and picnic tables. Access to all shops is possible from 5 km, in the town of Chalais which has a train station (railway axis Bordeaux = 1 hour - and Angoulême = 1/2 hour). The remarkable Romanesque architecture in the South Charente, our network of organic producers and artisans, will satisfy your curiosity and your thirst for authenticity and well-being. The possibility of cooking on site (gas stove with oven + refrigerator) and enjoying the dining room open to the outside (with fireplace) will also allow you autonomy and freedom of action. An outdoor sanitary block (WC and shower) is also available for campers. The use of two bread ovens used for my partner's organic farmer baker activity will also be appreciated.
