On the ground floor, our cottage comprises: - A kitchen (gas hob, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher) opening onto the dining room. - A utility room (electric oven, refrigerator, freezer, gas stove, small appliances). - A large living room/library offering peace, quiet, and coolness in the summer in a 17th-century building. - A children's area: a desk with drawing materials, a non-smart TV with a DVD player and a wide selection of DVDs, a library of children's literature, a music player, a variety of board games for children and adults, and pretend play (kitchen, Playmobil, Kapla). - A laundry room with a sink, clothes horse, washing machine, iron, and ironing board, as well as baby equipment (stroller, bathtub, changing mat, potty, and two travel cots with mattress toppers). - A composting toilet, a feature of the cottage, is in keeping with the natural cycle that is so dear to us.
