La Chapelle was part of a former Templar commandery called "du Dognon" located in the heart of the Blanzacais hills. Built in the middle of the 12th century, it was restored at the beginning of the 20th century. 3 of the 4 walls are still covered with paintings representing the battles of the Crusaders or mythical characters (Geoffroy Martel, Brother of Guillaume Taillefer). In 1902, the Chapel was acquired by the Protestants of the South Charente as a place of worship. Visits from April to October by appointment. Afternoons from Monday to Friday in July / August (in the morning by appointment).
