Ateliers - Projet Prenons l'Âge du Bon Côté
Valfontaine Village and the CNSA (National Solidarity Fund for Independence) are offering a prevention programme focusing on physical activity and nutrition. Please refer to the document for further details. A health promotion and prevention programme developed by experts and service users, tailored to each local area and delivered by trained professionals The ageing of the population is expected to accelerate up to 2050. Against this backdrop, preventing the loss of independence has a vital role to play. The ‘Prenons l’âge du bon côté’ programmes, developed by the CNSA and based on scientifically validated sources, are designed to address this challenge: to encourage the long-term adoption of health-promoting behaviours and to enable people aged 60 and over to continue doing what they want to do. This is a series of 12 sessions, which will take place on Fridays at 2.00 pm from 21 August until 20 November 2026. We will discuss the importance of adapted physical activity and diet in everyday life. These workshops are aimed at people aged 60 and over who still live at home and remain independent in their daily lives. A team of three people – a coordinator, a personal activity assistant (APA) and a dietitian-nutritionist – will lead the sessions free of charge.
