The program for the cultural season of the Théâtre de Barbezieux is available on the website www.cdc4b.com. Theater ticket office opens 1 hour before the start of the performances. The castle of Barbezieux, cited in the year 1000, is a medieval fortress in the 11th-12th century, between Aquitaine and Angoumois The La Rochefoucauld family carried out major works in the 15th century. Today, of this vast castral complex, there remains the entrance gatehouse (the Porte d'Archiac) and the so-called "barns" building. The restorations, works of 2 years are completed. The inauguration of the castle took place on September 25, 2015.
