The Maine Giraud winery is an elegant manor house set in the middle of vineyards in the rolling Charente countryside. On site are produced Cognac and Pineaux, local Charentais wines but also grape juice and Cognac chocolates. On the estate that once belonged to Alfred de Vigny, you will feel the poet’s soul everywhere around and everything will remind you that the man of letters was also a good winegrower. The manor is labeled "House of the Illustrious". Today’s winemakers keep his memory alive by turning their job into an art form and maintaining the beauty of their cellars.
