Kiboko - Compagnie Le Friiix Club
With gentleness and tenderness, the Friiix Club invites little ones to set off on an imaginary journey to Japan, in the company of little colourful wooden dolls: the kokeshi. It was during a writing residency near Kyoto that Frédéric Feliciano, a multi-talented artist, discovered this key symbol of Japanese craftsmanship. Always on the lookout for new forms of animation, the kokeshi dolls then became, thanks to the imagination of the Friiix Club, the stars of the Kiboko creation, a work structured like a haiku. Through a series of audio and visual postcards, we follow the adventures of Kiboko, who lives with her mother, lost in reverie amongst a cherry tree and giant carp.
