Concert – Raul Midón

Raul Midón is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and guitarist, renowned for his unique fusion of soul, jazz, Latin and acoustic music. Blind from birth, he has been described by The New York Times as a ‘true one-man band’, capable of transforming his guitar into an orchestra and his voice into a choir. His breakthrough album, *State of Mind*, produced by Arif Mardin, introduced the world to his boundless musical universe. This album is now celebrating its 20th anniversary and is regarded as a modern classic of soul and jazz. Throughout his career, Raul Midón has collaborated with artists as diverse as Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Snoop Dogg and Roberta Flack. He has also performed at prestigious venues and festivals around the world. His latest album, *Lost & Found* (2024), continues his journey as a daring artist – both an inspired storyteller and a musician who blurs the boundaries between genres. Praised by Quincy Jones for the joy that emanates from his music and described by People magazine as an ‘eclectic adventurer’, Raul Midón remains one of the most captivating voices in contemporary music.
